Senior Product Marketing Manager- Data Protection

Dell Technologies is a leader in data protection with the PowerProtect portfolio of data protection appliances and software that supports any workload across any cloud, increases simplicity and automation with VMware, and mitigates risk through cyber resiliency. As the data protection landscape continues to evolve a highly skilled product marketing team is essential.

What you'll achieve

As a Product Marketing Consultant, you will own and project manage product marketing initiatives, working closely with other members of marketing, sales and product management

You will:
  • Drive product marketing efforts including marketing strategy, core messaging, positioning, launches, content creation, enablement, communications and demand generation for the product offering and portfolio integrations
  • Define real-world market segmentation models, and develop optimized messaging for specific markets and audiences
  • Develop creative and diverse customer facing marketing collateral including infographics, blogs, videos, white papers, website content, case studies, training materials, and product presentations for both business and technical audiences
  • Develop creative strategies and assets for global demand generation, awareness and thought leadership campaigns
  • Develop high-value sales tools and drive sales and partner enablement
  • Support cross functional teams with both subject matter expertise and marketing acumen
  • Drive social media/blog strategy to promote thought leadership and brand. Engage key market influencers through social media and other channels


Essential Requirements
  • Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6+ years with a Master's degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical aptitude, fast learner, excellent communication skills (written, presentation, speaking, listening) and ability to passionately articulate products, technologies, and value propositions
  • High degree of comfort with all forms of social media, and an understanding of how it can be leveraged in a B2B technology market
  • Strong cross-functional skills, ability to think and work strategically, but also execute as an individual contributor
