Position Overview:

The candidate will work within the Americas Marketing Content Hub supporting content creation for demand generation campaigns and programs. He/she is responsible for synthesizing business goals, marketing and campaign plans to create a content strategy. This role will lead the development of thoughtful, compelling and on-brand content through a variety of channels. This person should have a firm grasp on the sales funnel and how content should be used at each stage of the buyer's journey.

Responsibilities:

■ Write and edit engaging copy for a variety of formats in support of the business needs, within brand and editorial guidelines

- Formats include: Email campaign messaging, web articles, podcasts, ebooks, op-ed/thought leadership, infographics, quizzes, white papers, social media, landing pages, one-pagers, advertisements and webinars

■ Execute long-term and evolving campaign content needs for "always on" campaigns, while also managing workflow demands

■ Understand best practices and requirements for supporting inbound and outbound content distribution channels

■ Collaborate closely with the business unit marketers and stakeholders across various geographic areas to jointly develop programs, where applicable

■ Aggregate and maintain inputs for content strategies, including audience insights, personas, messaging, competitive information and feedback from our product marketing teams, the business and users

■ Perform strategic mapping of content to audience journeys and ongoing journey gap analysis of the content inventory and its ability to support content strategy and campaign requirements

■ Leverage industry trends, the JLL brand, and service or product value propositions, to ensure quality and relevance in content creation

■ Ensure programmatic content is represented in the organization's universal content taxonomy

■ Identify and recommend opportunities for content reuse

■ Manage planning and implementation of projects through the development of processes and standard operating procedures

■ Provide operational support for content strategy and creation, through developing and managing a content calendar and content briefs

■ Contribute to search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives with an understanding of how to integrate keyword strategy into overall content planning for programs and campaigns

■ Keep a pulse on best-in-class B2B content and bring new approaches and concepts to Campaign and Content Hub partners

■ Interview stakeholders as required to ensure content includes key messages to make a connection between sales and client/prospect

■ Evangelize and perpetuate content strategy across the organization for successful demand generation and buyer conversion

Skills:

■ The successful candidate has extensive demand generation-based content strategy and creation expertise, including development of ideation and content for lead nurture paths, as well as understanding of the latest digital content marketing best practices (i.e., formats, platforms, engagement drivers)

■ Content strategy and complex project management

■ Ability to synthesize audience knowledge needs and corporate messaging for content strategy

■ Highly driven and self-motivated to deliver results

■ Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills

■ Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using qualitative and quantitative insights to drive marketing decisions

■ Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams

■ Strong project management skills to prioritize high impact activities and keep complicated projects moving forward

■ Demonstrated creative skills (e.g. written and/or design skills) to drive personalization and relevance

Qualifications

■ Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business or related field preferred

■ 6+ years of B2B content marketing experience

■ Exceptional writing and editing skills

■ Understanding of content mapping to audience journeys and ongoing journey gap analysis

■ Understanding of campaign management and demand creation processes

■ Cross-functional, multi-phase and complex project management

■ Insight gathering and analysis from multiple internal and external data sources (e.g. data providers, social analysis, engagement scores)

■ Proven experience working with multiple marketing and sales functions to deliver superior results
