North America Field Marketing Manager - East Region

Job Summary:

Altair seeks an experienced marketing professional who is passionate about scaling the growth of Altair’s regional marketing efforts to transform customer decision-making through the application of data analytics, simulation and high-performance computing throughout business lifecycles. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing for the Americas, this newly created role will be responsible for leading a small team of marketing specialists to support the needs of the East Region sales organization through successful campaign execution. This role will be accountable for creating and executing a scalable marketing strategy across the customer lifecycle to achieve aggressive demand generation, pipeline and revenue targets. Your team will develop, manage and evolve marketing programs by creating high-value events and targeted marketing campaigns that deliver best of breed content and experiences for our customers, prospects, and partners.

What You Will Do:

 The N. America Field Marketing Manager – East will:

  • Partner with sales and partner executives to define, evolve and communicate marketing plans and performance to goal as market dynamics evolve to ensure alignment of goals, objectives and strategies with direct and indirect revenue plans
  • Closely collaborate with sales leadership and both corporate and solutions marketing teams to successfully execute on top-level priorities
  • Develop the East Region annual and quarterly marketing plans in alignment with global marketing initiatives
  • Connect field programs with Sales and Demand Generation to maximize overall marketing investments and ensure the continuation of prospect/customer journeys
  • Oversee execution of geographically focused campaigns and activities across a variety of channels including digital marketing, webinars/virtual events, live/in-person events & tradeshows
  • Create and manage territory program budget, measure ROI of field marketing tactics through metrics analysis and reporting
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, report and present on campaign and KPI performance, regional success, deliverables and programs among teams and to marketing and sales management
  • Be a great leader to your team. Guide and support their marketing efforts. Be a good listener and team motivator. Identify where you can help them grow and develop.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in software marketing, B2B preferred
  • BA/BS degree
  • Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and sales automation/CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytics, reporting, and written communication skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
  • Previous experience in Simulation, HPC or Data Analytics is highly preferred, but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Location: East Region, N. America, preferably: Detroit, MI, Hampton, VA or Toronto, ON, Canada
