Job Summary
Coordinates official events and other events in-person and virtually. Oversees vendors, event components, budget, and event marketing.
Essential Functions
• Event planning & coordination for BMRC and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery events, including but not limited to BMRC Symposium, Educational Outreach Events, Bethel Prize, SSRP Capstone Event, Resident Graduation, Resident Research Day, social events for residents and fellows, support for academic visitor itineraries.
• Primary point of contact for external and internal stakeholders for all events supported.
• Track and manage budgets for event-related supplies and payments through University purchasing system and policies.
• Independent management of timelines, priorities and event logistics with limited supervision from management. Anticipate and proactively solve event-related issues that may arise.
Physical Effort
Day to day duties are primarily sedentary. Minimal physical activity may be required around event set up or take down. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
