POSITION SUMMARY

EM Cosmetics has an exciting opportunity for a talented, seasoned E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing company. This position will be responsible for channel marketing, analytics, day-to-day site operations, new customer acquisition and overall growth of the E-Commerce business for EM Cosmetics. S/he will collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Operations, Product Development, and Customer Service to create a best-in-class online/digital experience. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, results-driven, and able to translate data into actionable insights and strategies, with an eye for beauty and a passion for innovation.
This position has one Coordinator direct report.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, paid social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Be responsible for the site maintenance/enhancement and digital media budgets
  • Take ownership to grow the e-comm channel with a laser-focus on new customer acquisition and conversion.
  • Develop and manage the strategic content calendar, including online promotional offer strategy and reporting on performance.
  • Oversee all email marketing efforts, including email setup & segmentation, automated triggers, A/B testing, as well as email reporting & KPIs.
  • Apply understanding of site merchandising, inventory and site KPI's to optimize product sell through, revenue and margin.
  • Responsible for managing catalog of products – uploads, asset management, maintenance, ensuring accuracy of inventory, etc.
  • Optimize website conversion by owning our shopify e-commerce platform (re-market banners, cart abandonment, and pixels, etc.). Manage the associated budget and resources as necessary.
  • Identify key business opportunities and initiate strategic enhancements/upgrades of systems. Lead implementation and project management with internal team members and external agencies.
  • Create, forecast and maintain key digital metric reports and dashboards for traffic and acquisition, conversion, spend and revenue forecasts. Report key business metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Establish KPI’s in order to maximize growth and return on ad spend.
  • Manage internal QA and launch processes closely with cross-functional teams, so that products are released on time for sale.
  • Manage third-party vendors and agencies to successfully improve the shopping experience and drive new traffic to the site.
  • Closely monitor and partner with Operations and Warehouse team to ensure package fulfillment meets well defined SLA’s.
  • Regularly conduct competitive analysis and stay current on developments in the digital marketing and analytics space.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of retail/e-commerce business processes. Beauty, lifestyle or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus a Must.
  • Experience in leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Proven experience in website optimizing pages and sales funnels; as well as creating and launching email marketing campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of web and mobile analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrated history of delivery in a dynamic, fast paced organization.
  • Ability to operate independently, but respond to executive input and direction.
  • Strong ethics and values which support the organization’s goals and foster the appropriate culture.
  • Extremely strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Working knowledge of ad serving environment.
  • Background in managing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Self-starting and goal oriented professional with strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must possess strong initiative – self-directed, with independent judgment and decision-making ability
  • Outstanding ability to partner with others at all levels.
