The position is a critical connection point between product, sales, customer and business development teams, helping influence product strategy and leading go-to-market strategies and campaign execution to generate new prospects and reach sales targets.  

Purpose of the Position:

The Assistant Marketing Manager will lead demand generation including collateral creation and digital marketing, brand messaging/positioning for sales enablement for Synergen in America. Using inbound marketing tactics such as SEO (search engine optimization), social media, online advertising, and email marketing, this person will help create and build brand awareness to drive lead generation initiatives for the company.  Finally, this person will act the brand’s champion, specifically relating to the website, digital media, PR, and the conferences and events virtually or face-to-face.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategize, identify, prioritize, and execute outreach campaigns and lead generation strategies in alignment with leadership initiatives to optimize lead conversion rates.
  • Drive key business metrics including subscribers and new leads/MQL’s through inbound marketing activities and build a demand generation function that collaborates with product and solution marketing.
  • Day-to-day management of the website, including overseeing our creative/web agency, as the main point of contact for any and all updates from the various internal departments
  • Manage analytics and report to the business on a regular basis
  • Coordinate the SEO, SEM and paid media efforts and agency relationships with direction from VP Business Development
  • Strategically produce and distribute digital content that drives lead generation and/or benefits existing customer relationships
  • Manage corporate communications including PR, research, competitive analysis and partner efforts.
  • Assist with conference and events schedule, booth and exhibition participation, helping with the execution of these events in the Americas
  • Assist in the development of content to communicate value of Synergen products and solutions with support from VP Business Development

Experience

  • 3-5 years of B2B technology marketing experience preferred; experience with working with agencies a plus
  • Healthcare or B2B technology experience is preferred
  • Bachelor of Arts in marketing or business or other related field or similar equivalent qualification and experience

  • Understanding of the marketing funnel and how to create and progress leads
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Hubspot, Marketo, Salesforce and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of digital strategy, execution, reporting and agency management
  • Familiarity with advertising technology platforms (such as Google Ads and AdRoll); marketing technology and tools, including personalization engines; firmographic, technographic and intent data platforms; and content marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with common spreadsheet applications (such as Excel), including pivot tables and charting
  • Understanding of how to build and optimize account-based marketing (ABM) programs
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and/or other tools and competence in creating slides  
  • Manage marketing budgets
  • Attend trade shows and events to market product
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities
  • Develop understanding of product line and value chain
